Taste of Atlanta Celebrates Lucky Number Seven…
Come Savor the Unique Flavors of 70 Delectable Restaurants at the Seventh Annual Event

ATLANTA – Taste of Atlanta, Georgia’s favorite homegrown food festival, celebrates its seventh anniversary this fall with a seemingly endless sampling of the finest food the city has to offer.  Festival guests coming to Atlantic Station Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12 will indulge in cuisine from some of the world’s most renowned restaurateurs, enjoy cooking demonstrations from local and national chefs, walk the streets with strolling musicians and entertainers, and more.   Patrons can experience new sensations at the Amica Insurance Kid’s Avenue and at the local, sustainable Country Road.  VIP ticket holders will relax with a few beers at Bowling & Brews at Ten Pin Alley and tantalize their taste buds at the expanded Wine Experience at the TWELVE Hotel.  Enjoying a family-friendly and food-filled weekend with a taste of good ol’ Southern hospitality is as easy (and as enticing) as pie.

Tickets went on sale August 15! Saturday and Sunday General Admission ticket is $25 in advance, $35 at the event and you receive 10 taste coupons.  Saturday and Sunday VIP tickets are $75 in advance until September 15 or $95 September 16-October 12. VIP ticket holders receive 20 taste coupons and entry into the Wine Experience at TWELVE Hotel and Bowling & Brews at Ten Pin Alley.  True wine connoisseurs will want to attend the exclusive Georg Riedel wine seminar and receive a set of four Riedel Vitis wine tasting glasses.  Limited tickets are available for $195. The first 500 patrons with VIP tickets to arrive at the festival each day will receive a Taste of Atlanta gift bag.  Restaurants offer tastes for 1, 2, or 3 taste coupons.  Additional taste coupons can be purchased for $1 each.

Taste of Atlanta is the Southeast’s most anticipated 2-day food event filled with tastes, live cooking demonstrations and festive entertainment held in the streets of Atlantic Station on Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and 12, 2008.  Taste of Atlanta has been ranked a top 10 festival by the Southeast Tourism Society, earned several Kaleidoscope awards and is recognized as one of the top food festivals in the nation.  In addition to more than 70 of Atlanta’s favorite restaurants, the event will feature national and local celebrity chefs on three cooking stages, a Wine Experience at TWELVE Hotel, Bowling & Brews at Ten Pin Alley, live street performances and more.
