Tournament for Women Will Benefit American Cancer Society
SUWANEE, GA Calling all women golfers! Don’t miss your chance to play in the Annual Pink Ribbon Classic Golf Tournament at top-ranked Bear’s Best Atlanta in Suwanee on Thursday, September 25. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the American Cancer Society and its fight against cancer.
Bear’s Best Atlanta is ranked in the “top 10 courses you can play in America” by Golf Magazine.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for women golfers of all levels to spend an enjoyable day on a world-class course while helping to raise money and awareness for cancer,” said Linda Storey, chair of the Pink Ribbon Classic. “We urge all women golfers to sign up to play in this great event and help the American Cancer Society take a swing at cancer.”
Atlanta Classic Cars is the Presenting Sponsor for this year’s Classic and will also host a pre-event party on Wednesday, September 24 from 6-8 p.m. in their showroom located at 1705 Boggs Road, Duluth, The party will be catered by Cornbread and Caviar and Firebird Rotisserie & Grill.
The Pink Ribbon Classic tournament gets under way on September 25 at 7 a.m. with registration, continental breakfast, warm-up and players’ gifts. The American Cancer Society’s signature survivor pinning ceremony and balloon release will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Following play, there will be an Atlanta Classic Cars helicopter ball drop contest, contest prizes, awards ceremony and a wonderful buffet luncheon.
