Trunk-or-Treat: Safe Halloween Fun
à La Mode Models offers Halloween fun in a safe environment
ATLANTA, GA (October 18, 2007) In a child’s mind, nothing is better than Halloween; dressing up in fun costumes, touring the neighborhood, and hunting for oodles of candy to last until Easter it’s impossible not to love this holiday! While kids are envisioning the mountains of candy they are about to receive, parents are wondering how their child can have a fun and safe Halloween.
à La Mode Models is offering the safest, most exciting, candy-filled opportunity for Atlanta’s youth at their Trunk-or-Treat Harvest Party. Held at the Boys and Girls Club (6020 Paul Road, Lithonia, GA 30058), on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. 8:30 p.m., this festive event is open to all youth. At sunset, there will be themed vehicles with open trunks awaiting the arrival of the sugar-craving boys and girls. They will be able to disguise their faces with thrilling face paintings, play in an air bouncer and indulge in an assortment of sweet treats and food. Did we mention it was all FREE!?!
The Trunk-or-Treat Harvest Party is the first of two quarterly community service initiatives for à La Mode Models. “We wanted to create an alternative to traditional, sometimes unsafe trick-or-treating,” said Shuante Manous, Founder, à La Mode Models. “This will allow students to interact in a fun, safe and family-oriented environment. We encourage every child to wear a costume.”
With years of experience, à La Mode Models’ primary purpose is to give opportunities to youth who are seeking to explore the world of the fashion, design and the modeling industry. à La Mode is a modeling institution that promotes scholastic advancement, business development and personal growth, while serving as a liaison between today’s youth and the adult community. Students will be given the opportunity to enhance their professional and personal portfolios, while focusing on print development, professional runway coaching, etiquette training and oral communication.
