Height can vary

Since I am relatively new at being a Grandmother, I was thrilled when Matt Holland of Brookwood High School Varsity Football included Grandmother Carolyn Allen along on Brookwood Media Day. Standing with Matt and his teammate and buddy Blake Fussell, Mrs. Allen reminds us that while beauty is hereditary, height can vary.
My own oldest Grandchild, Blake Schroder, Age 3, became a Jaguar recently at Grayson United Methodist Soccer League. Kasey Hoffman, mother of soccer athlete Eva, is not only the head Jaguar Coach but also an avid runner and a teacher at Lovin Elementary. Molly Spencer, Grayson High School’s well known and successful Competition Cheerleading Coach, has twins, Lexie and Austin on the team.
A Senior portrait becomes a personality portrait when the subject has many interests. Brandon Titus of Central Gwinnett High School not only plans to become a pastry chef but currently is part of French Club, Key Club, and excels in track and cross country. For his Senior portrait, we worked to recreate a celebratory “big finish” moment for Brandon white his adoring parents looked on.
Zach Buchanan’s Senior portrait at Mill Creek High School was a milestone for us because we have known Zach and his parents for many years. Father Carl Buchanan’s volunteerism for Grayson Athletic Association Special Population Association and Gwinnett County Special Olympics is extensive. Plus he and Zach always seem very happy to see us .
Mill Creek High School Seniors won the Georgia Softball Championship Title last year so this final year is very special for the Seniors seen here in their Dugout stance. Like all Good State Champions, the girls are excessively photogenic.
While Brookwood Volleyball normally has a solid group of Senior players, Paige Brown is the lone Senior athlete this year and looked for support from her devoted trio of team managers.
Ean Pemberton, one of the many standouts from Grayson High School’s last football season, was again a key factor factor in leading Grayson High School to a victory recently over 2008 State Champions Camden High School in the Corky Kell Game at the Georgia Dome. Guided by Coach Mickey Conn and helmed by new Quarterback Patrick Santry, the Grayson Rams left with a victory of 14-10.
