Sugarloaf Pack 846 is an award-winning Cub Scout Pack, and recently received the Quality Unit designation. To be a Quality Unit, a scout pack must meet certain criteria, including 100% training of the leaders, 100% advancement of den members from the previous year, a high percentage of retainment of scouts from the previous year, a high percentage of participation in a pack overnight camping experience, and more.
The Pack was also recognised by the City of Suwanee last year for a National Public Lands Day service project, during which the cub scouts cleaned up the trails and trail signs at Suwanee Creek Park, and also spread mulch at the outdoor classroom. All five dens in the pack, Tiger, Wolves, Bears, Webelos I and Webelos II, participated in a cleanup and enhancement project at Suwanee Creek Park.
