Emory Eastside Medical Center is delighted to announce that Tom Jackson is the new CFO effective June 1, 2009. He brings with him a record of streamlining, improvement and innovation in the healthcare industry. Jackson says, “I’m excited about joining the TriStar family and look forward to serving the hospital and this great community.”
Tom comes to EEMC from Doctors Hospital of Augusta, the largest burn center in the United States. His previous work experience includes HCA’s Research Medical Center, Vanderbilt University Hospital and Ernst & Young LLP.
The new CFO holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, with a triple major in Health Industry Management, Finance and Marketing. He earned his BS in Management and Accounting from David Lipscomb University in Nashville.
An active volunteer, Tom has served as a Care Group Leader at Central Church of Christ and participated in a home-construction service trip to Honduras, a youth retreat mission to Australia, and a service trip to Habitat for Humanity’s headquarters in Americus, Georgia.
