Living what you prescribe is one of the most perceptible characteristics of the medical staff at Georgia Medical Associates. While the stereotypical portrait of a doctor might be found just on the golf course, each staff member lives the advice they give in more creative ways. From travel to motorcycles, bicycles, outdoor activities and piloting, the medical staff at GMA prescribe activity as good medicine.
"Live a healthy lifestyle," says Dr. Ify Adimorah. And at GMA they do just that. Dr. Adimorah is a native of Nigeria and wanted to become a physician to help others realize a healthy lifestyle. She loves to travel, listen to music and enjoys films. Faith also plays an important part in her life. For Dr. Adimorah, education of her patients is foremost. If she can teach her patients to take better care of themselves, they will be better equipped to live that happy and fulfilled healthy life.
Paul Beck, PA-C originally hails from Aberdeen, South Dakota and has lived in Snellville for the past nine years. Becoming a PA was a way to serve as a Minister of Medicine. Paul is involved with South Gwinnett High School Sports and volunteers his time there. In addition to being involved with students, Paul loves the outdoors. Motorcycle trips, camping and Nebraska football are among his favorites. He is also an avid hockey fan. With so many varied interests, Paul finds it easy to talk to his patients and make them comfortable while managing to really listen to what they have to say.
Dr. David Lentz is not to be left behind in living the active lifestyle. Dr. Lentz is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association of Gwinnett. He has a great golden retriever at home who provides him with lots of exercise and general relaxation time. Biking and jogging are included on his menu of living a healthy lifestyle.
Prescribing healthy living is one thing, but living it is quite another. The medical staff at Georgia Medical Associates certainly brings their goal of "Quality Patient Care" into their daily work and personal lives to set a great example for their patients.
