The Buford Lanier Woman’s Club will hold its 12th Annual Tour of Homes on Sunday April 18, 2010, from 12:30 until 5:30 p.m. This year the TOUR will feature three outstanding homes and one luxury houseboat. Our Gated Lake Front Estate is on the shores of beautiful Lake Lanier and includes the main house, a carriage house with guest house cottage above, and a pool house. Our Eclectic Tropical Lake Home is also on Lake Lanier and is a reflection of island living in style.
This home features a phenomenal home theater fashioned after the Fox Theater with fiber optic stars in the ceiling, seating for 12, and a 103” Echients Touch Screen System. Our Kelly Cove Home is in Buford and is a beautiful, transitional style with a remarkable use of neutral colors and textures. Aqua Benz, which is our luxury houseboat, fits its name perfectly and is absolutely exquisite! Aqua Benz will be at Holiday Marina on the courtesy dock on day of the TOUR.
The Annual Tour of Homes is the primary fundraising event of the Buford Lanier Woman’s Club (BLWC), which is a non-profit, volunteer service organization and member of the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. In 2009 BLWC used funds raised to support 62 local, state, national, and international charities as well as several educational scholarships and service projects.
