Spring is on it’s way here at Still Lake Nursery and Florist. All of us are looking forward to the new season.
The last year has really been very educational to everyone. With the drought and water restrictions, gardeners have had to learn all kinds of ways to conserve water. From saving from shower and air conditioners to mulching - we have learned how to still have beautiful plants.
I personally have loved to decorate my yard with containers full of color and texture of plants I get from the greenhouses here at Still Lake. Someone asked me the other day what my favorite plant was. That is a really hard one to answer, since mine seems to be a never ending list. I love lots of color!
Container gardening is one of my most favorite ways to add a splash of color here and there. They can be planted with assorted plants or with only one variety of a plant. Either way they bring much beauty to your yard. We have a wonderful crew here at Still Lake that can help you choose the right plants for that special area of container in the yard.
You can even bring your own containers to us and we will plant them for you, for a small fee.
We are not fancy, but do grow a large selection of beautiful healthy plants.
